Originally built by our grandparents this lovely duplex house has been transformed into an oasis. Tori and Ryan a couple who was born and raised in Historic Bloomington-Normal, IL in the middle of Central Illinois. Tori has grown up within throwing distance of Historic Route 66 her entire life. Ryan at a young age pursued purchasing rentals to providing affordable housing as well as following aspirations of owning other business’s in the entertainment and transportation industries. This upbringing lead Tori and Ryan to look to fill a need in short term renting within Bloomington-Normal. Growing up in the generation who experienced the dawn of cell phones, the internet, arcades, Xbox/PlayStation, and so much more they wanted to provide an entertaining space for friends and family to gather.

Historic Route 66

Classic retro arcades along route 66 have been around for the better part of several decades, however with the changing of times many of those arcades have come and gone. With the revival of Rt. 66 has come many things such as the arcade museum in Atlanta, IL, Illinois Route 66 Hall of Fame and Museum, or the World’s Largest Covered Wagon! These memories of the past have formed House of Games to what it is today.

House of Games in Bloomington, IL features a full retro inspired basement arcade with 10 plus vintage arcade games with the likes of Ms. Pac-man, Asteroids, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and more! The digital board game table offers dozen of classic game such as Monopoly, Battleship, Sorry!, Connect 4, Scrabble, Operation and more. The family fun doesn’t stop there, within the basement contains a dedicated classic game console room. This room features Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo, GameCube, and PlayStation!

House of Games conveniently located across the street from a convenience store (no pun intended) which has a variety of snacks and drinks and other household items you may need. With that being said Tori and Ryan wanted House of Games to offer everything you could need. House of Games offers a selection of ice cream treats, and a fully stocked vintage Coke-Cola Soda Cooler of which all are free of charge! You also can’t beat the local restaurant selection as it is one of the best in the state.

Air Hockey, Ping Pong, and Foosball in Bloomington-Normal, IL

The Rec-room features everything from ping-pong, air hockey, foosball, to pop a shot basketball arcade, vintage chrome 70’s dinner table perfect for board or card games. Of course additional video arcades like Golden Tee, NBA Jam, and more! Every corner of House of Games reveals something fun and exciting!

Large enough for small family gatherings/reunions this arcade themed house provides 4 queen beds, one sofa sleeper double bed, and one couch for sleeping arrangements. Comfortably sleeping 11 guest’s total. The Pac-man inspired bedroom which features a Pac-man wall mural from a local Bloomington, IL artist. The retro inspired living room with 80’s themed orange couch, which displays a mini freezer with ice cream treats. The House of Games has lots to offer for everything from birthday parties, family reunions, graduation parties, and more in the luxury hotel like atmosphere that it has to offer.
