House of Games Airbnb Reviews (Spring 2024)

“This one is a labor of love!”

We have stayed in many Airbnbs. This one is a labor of love! I am a grumpy, fun-killing parent, but even I was able to relax and spend hours playing Super Mario Bros and reminiscing with my husband about our youths. My son played so much Pop-A-Shot that his shoulders and arms were sore for the ride home. Ryan has peppered the place with Pac-Man trivia. I read all of it. I finally got to try out Guitar Hero. All three of my kids played a lot of ping pong, foosball, Skeeball, and basketball. The home's styling is a little older, but very clean, very organized, and Ryan has left instructions everywhere. He's also left ice cream treats, popcorn, Capri sun, soda, and Keurig cups. The kitchen had everything we needed. We were able to make breakfast and dinner both days. Ten stars!

“Perfect place for kids”

Perfect place for kids to enjoy a weekend getaway.

Approx 2 hours from Chicago but nonetheless we enjoyed all the house had to offer from the house game to the arcade games the kids couldn’t get enough.

We are already talking and planning our next stay at this particular fun house.

“Our boys are already asking when we can go back”

This location is so much fun. It's the perfect "staycation" with plenty to do without ever leaving the property. We had a relaxing weekend here with lots of bonding and memories made. They have provided tons of fun options for an array of ages. Ryan had excellent communication and the listing description is spot on, we were not left to guess anything. Everything is clearly labeled inside which is so helpful! The communication prior to check in, during our stay, and check out made everything extremely easy. They have done a great job making a cohesive theme in the basement with lots to keep everyone busy. The soda/ice cream was a fun touch that our kids really enjoyed. It was too cold for us to enjoy the fire pit but it looked like a nice touch and the sting lights outside were pretty. Our boys are already asking when we can go back, this location was definitely a hit.

“So much fun for all”

My family had a great time together here over the school holiday! So much fun for all and everything was just as the listing stated with fun extras and well thought out accommodation. Ryan was so responsive and helpful, the home was clean and spacious, and the multiple areas of the house with games made the stay enjoyable for both my teens and youngest child.

“Good bonding experience”

Grandsons had fun with all the games a good bonding experience. Ryan had doughnuts delivered which was much appreciated. I loved playing trival pursuit on the game table.

“Better than Disney”

We are a family of 7 and wanted a place to be able to spend time together. That can be difficult with children from 7-17 where everyone has something to do. Fortunately, we ran across this house and it was just what we were looking for! With the assortment of activities, there was something for everyone. My 7 year old said it was better than Disney because there were no lines and he could play as many times as he wanted. Having 3 bathrooms was great and something you do not get in a hotel. The kitchen had everything I needed to make a basic meal while we were there and having the dishwasher was very convenient! Ryan had plenty of extra pillows and blankets in the closet to accommodate any needs. He was also very quick to respond to any questions we had while we were there and even after we left. Ryan's house is located where you can easily get to restaurants or shops or events easily. We will definitely return!

Overall my family had an awesome experience! Would highly recommend. Host were also very accommodating and responsive.

“Couldn’t get enough of all the games”

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay. We were in town for a concert and the location was within 10 minutes of the venue. It was exactly as described and my kids couldn’t get enough of all the games available for play! Kitchen had everything we needed! Ryan was extremely responsive to all our inquiries. Great place!
